Sighting rate is 95%+ with our naturalist guides using high-power scopes. Both 2 and 3-toed sloths live here.
Is the beach crowded?
Park beach is limited to ~1000 visitors/day, stays relatively quiet. Playa Espadilla public beach is busier.
Can I bring food to the park?
No food/drinks allowed inside park to protect wildlife from feeding issues. Bring water only.
Closed days?
Park closed every Monday. We schedule this tour Tue-Sun only.
Beach swimming safe?
Playa Manuel Antonio very calm, family-friendly. Playa Espadilla has stronger currents, watch flags.
Monkeys steal food?
Yes! White-faced monkeys are infamous for snatching unattended bags. Keep things closed.
